Kendal's Last Splash

Snow White and her Eight Babes took on sunny San Diego to celebrate the bachelorette of allll bachelorette parties.

Maddie and I were the first to arrive on Coronado Island, we held the celebration and the Del Coronado. An absolutely elegant, beautiful dream of a hotel.

She only gave me two direct orders; must be held at the Del and she wants to have matching tank tops. As Maid of Honor, I made sure to deliver both requests. But not before treating myself to my absolute favorite Mermaid red beer from Coronado Brewing Co and yes I HAD to get the fries.  ;)

Stephanie, The Bride, Sara & Ashley.

Some snaps of the hotel.

I could not have set everything up without the help of these gals!! Thank you for all your hard work.

The theme of the weekend was done in true mermaid style -
Kendals Last Splash

So we decorated the suites with everything from seashells, to crystals, starfish and sparkles.
Some inspiration below.

this was an arts and craft day. While cheersing mimosas we decorated flip flops.

Brides Babes gift packs

My sister thoroughly enjoying her fish tacos. I heard she made Anthony take her back for their one year just to get another plate of them. They are THAT good!

We went on a really fun adventure together and all got to wear our matching shirts. It was a beer tour for the day with some good stops and some great beers.

The next day Anthony treated us to Cabana's at the beach, so we could have our own space and just relax. Melanie and Step get the most fun cocktail ever.

That night we hit the town and got to enjoy the San Diego nightlife.

The last day we went out to brunch and hung around the island. The homes in the area were just gorgeous, so you know I had to snap a few.

Congratulations to my little sister and the coolest brother ever!
We had an amazing trip. ✨✨

May 12 2019. T - Minus 111 days until the wedding

The day started out with my aunt catching a 6 am flight into town. After three different stops, we finally found fresh flowers for the centerpieces.

Some of the decorations for the bridal shower. It was originally supposed to be held at a winery. But I felt funny after inquiring and having the lady assure me it would not rain this weekend.

(it was a torrential downpour the entire party)

Blushing bride opening her gifts.

Mothers Day 2019- Dio Deka

I'm not a real photographer, i just like taking pictures of pretty things or people. This staircase greets you when you first walk through the hotel entrance. The tile really makes you feel like you are stepping into the old world of luxe and true craftsmanship.

Cute Couples

I had such an amazing time dining at Dio Deka in Los Gatos. This was for Mothers Day last year since this year everything has been closed for covid.

guest of honor

But can you tell which was actually dessert? ;)

Happy Mothers day everyday Mom. ðŸ’›ðŸ’›

Southern Hospitality

I found fall!
It was right here is Texas, all along. Never made it to California, so I had to travel here to find it.
Everyone knew I was from out of town, by the way my mouth hung open as I gazed into the trees.  The colors are like nothing you've seen before... well unless you live here. :)

Staying with Anthony's parents in their gorgeous home, I felt spoiled. We even had a cute coffee bar upstairs, so we could enjoy a cup in bed. His mom is so thoughtful. I snapped some pictures around their home, because I was so in love with the decor.

Deb really did a fantastic job styling and decorating everything.

This chandelier was brought all the way back from Italy, they have moved it from their home in California. Who could blame them, it's gorgeous! Their home had a ton of custom work done by the builder. The floor plan is nicely laid out and flows from room to room.

Treated to freshly baked croissants every morning.
My bathroom had a Buddha statue and was very spa like.

This amazing light fixture was actually carved from a tree in the front yard. It's suspended from the vaulted ceilings and adds just the right touch to their kitchen.

A few more details.
Deb has been hunting for all things peacock lately.
Another Buddha statue, guards the fireplace.

The picture above, is taken from the landing that runs the length of the great room. It's the prettiest hand scraped wood, and I'm bummed I didn't get a picture of the underside. The home is filled with natural light from huge windows throughout.

Maddie posing as a model in front of the kitchen cabinets.
Yes, that is real pasta enclosed in the front paneling of the drawers.
An inexpensive touch, that adds a ton of flare.
