nothing too crazy happening in the South Bay this weekend... but of course I have to promote the Mountain View Art and Wine Festival. This is one of the big festivals that a ton of people love to go to- because it is one of the oldest in the area. It's located all downtown on Castro street and in addition to the fun booths, food trucks, talented artists and art work... there are still all of the cute local boutiques, delicious sit down restaurants and rowdy bars to see as well. So throw on a little sunscreen, grab a glass of wine {{or two}} and rediscover the Mountain View strip.

Is anyone else sad that they didnt get to go to New York Fashion Week, but me? Or is everyone else already there...?

I am trying to keep up to date with all my fav bloggers while they are living it up in the City that never sleeps. Some of the shows I'm excited to see previews of are; Monique Lhuillier, Nicole Miller, Mara Hoffman, Diane von Furstenberg, Rebecca Minkoff, Zak Posen, Reem Acra, Rachel Zoe, Anna Sui, and J. Mendel.

And I'm loving the Monika Chiang looks, a little lady like and a little bit rock 'N roll. How fun are the colored bags that they have... obviously, I would be able to fit everything in one. swoon

After a short work week, I feel like I'm cheating by getting another weekend so soon. I know, I know... everyone is dying to see what I bought this past weekend in San Francisco... but I'm so lazy I haven't taken any good outfit posts yet... next week

I think since last weekend was so chaotic/exciting/busy/action packed, this weekend we will just sloooowwwww it dowwwnnn

I have never brought it up on here, but I have had some health issues for a while and I finally got them resolved.. I feel so fantastic and so alive {{too cheesy?}} Anyway, my message to you is to get checked out. Don't live with the pain you have.. I mean it really takes a toll on your mental state and your disposition. And if you live in the South Bay, I recommend here.. if you need it. The shots today are the little things that have kept me smiling this past week. Hope they make you smile too. enjoy your weekend. XO

 I feel like my work week is on fast forward and I can't find the remote in order to pause he madness. But fear not.. I will get through it. On my quick day off I got to enjoy the back country out in the South Bay at Clos LaChance Winery. We had all sorts of munchies and accoutrement's to make our afternoon more enjoyable. I especially loved the wasabi trail mix, it had the perfect about of kick. We shared a few bottles of the 2010, Reserve Viognier- which was very smooth. It had sweet undertones (think apricots and peaches) and a floral scent, which was very light and would pair well with multiple dishes. Finally as the sun began to set we decided that it was best to leave and get back to reality. Plus the bees had taken over one slice of turkey, and we were sure that they would come searching for more.

So we left the music, drinks, laughter and sunset... for another day

layer with eggplant tomato spread

chop peppers, green chilies, ham, mushrooms, broccoli {really, whatever you like}

sprinkle with low cal/fat motz cheese

twist the edge over itself around the circumference

bake at 450 degrees for 15-18 minutes.

They showed the boy and I a fabulous weekend in the City.

I got styled (beyond excited to share), ate a pretzel in Union Square, went to a party while the weather was hot- left a party and the weather turned cold, had a sleepover on the couch, met Monty the Jewish Reindeer{very dapper, as you might imagine}, went out and got drinks AND stayed up past Midnight... that never happens
