Treasure Island Flea

I WENT!!

The San Francisco Bay

&& it was fabulous and carefree and fun... just what we needed after a hectic week. I feel like I have been non stop for a few weeks and even though a big vacation isn't in my budget right now.. day-cations always are. Plus, my hunny surprised me and booked a hotel and we got to stay for extra long. The Flea Market is definitely not one to be missed. There is nothing else on the island to do, except to explore, but it's still well worth the trip (only half way across the bridge). There were wine vendors scattered around and food trucks circling the premises. The market had a lot of furniture and one of a kind/vintage household items and some clothing. The dishes were my favorite things to look at- they had some wild prints and loud colors (totally 60's/70's) I also found a fantastic Singer Sewing machine. It is foot powered and is all hand painted. I wished for it, but the price tag kept me from bringing it home. I already day-dreamed about it and how it would make a perfect entry way table to keep your keys safe or vase of flowers level. rats

I always know we're getting close to my friends when I see the Bunny House... no not that one

probably not user friendly anymore, but a gorgeous conversation piece.
